1.) Employer’s/Employee’s Ownership of Creative Work
All creative work produced by the employee(s) during their time of employment can only be used by their employer and employee(s) unless said otherwise. Work specifically made for a certain employer cannot be shared with a third party (Someone outside of the employer and employee(s) closed circle) unless those terms are met within the agreement. I.E., The employee(s) in question still have full rights to the creative work in terms of copyright and have the rights to post said creative work on their social media(s), and the employer can use said creative work however they wish as long as proper crediting is in place.2.) Additional Charges
Additional charges can include the following - prices may vary:
- Partial re-write or work
- Total re-write of work
- Last-minute changes
- Additional instrumentation (Adding voice lines, extra guitar, etc.)
To avoid such charging, please describe the commission(s) initially. This can be done by sending us a sample of music similar to what you want via a YouTube video, Spotify, etc.3.) Employee’s Choice
When given a pitch for a commission, the employee(s) have the right to refuse the commission(s) in question. This could either be because of the following:
- The commission(s) you asked us to make are not within our capabilities
- Commission(s) may be unreasonable in terms of work and/or size
- The deadline given to us may not fit within our scheduling (See section 4)4.) Deadlines, Refunds, Waiting List
To keep a schedule, giving/discussing deadlines for commission(s) is needed. However, remember that a commission deadline may not line up with personal scheduling for an employee; therefore, your commission may be declined or placed on a waiting list for another time (See section 3). Should the employee(s) making the commission not meet the deadline, one of two things can happen:- If the employer still wants the commission(s), then partial refunds will be placed (Prices may vary)
- If the employer no longer wants the commission(s), then full refunds will be placed.
